   Today my class did another photography trip around the school, especially near the M-wing and P-wing area. So I got to hangout with Amandi and take pictures with her. I really enjoy today's activity and the opportunity to see the flora around the school. Enjoy!

Elements of Art- (Line) Plants

Hello guys!
   This week my class is learning the Elements of Art, and the activity today was to take picture of plants. Now for some, it may sound boring,but to me this is a fun activity. If you stroll through my blog or specifically click on the "Just for Fun" page, then you seen that many of my pictures deal with nature. Hey, I just love nature and looking at plants. I'm currently on a Succulent post, so wait for that one.

The main objective of this activity was to use the skills from Elements of Art like Light and Color. I hope these pictures will make you smile. I had a little help from Samuel Sze, who showed me how to blur some parts of my images using Photoshop. Thanks dude and I hope that you enjoy my blog. :D

An Embedded Photographer Empowers the Poor-Lens

    Today, we looked at a slide show called, "An Embedded Photographer Empowers the Poor"Lens from . As a group we chose five pictures which are numbers 27, 22, 17, 24, 1 from best to worst. 

    From the first image 27 to the last one , they each shows a poor family who are determined to improve their future even when they are poor and may not have the materials to be not poor. The determination they each have compared to their dilapidated home show a great contrast. In addition, the activities the family experience either relieve or add some tension in the family's situation, for it means food and accompaniment.

We have another assignment to make another poster so here you go. I got to combine Illustrator and Photoshop together and my poster is decent. I used some filter effects and my art-drawing skills to make it. Also the group poster is made by Vina Kong. As usual, it's stunning with a light, blithe feeling. Very fancy and professional. Hope you enjoy them!

Illustrator Cartoon

Hello guys!
        I also want to tell you that I'm also learning how to use Adobe Illustrator program. My friend Sam taught me how to use it and the advantages of using it. For example, you can draw a squiggly line, and the program instantly transforms it into a curved time. The resolution is never lost (in other words there's no pixels diffraction as you zoom in) and it's great for drawing anime!

    The downside would be that it's a bit hard to fill in colors, but I enjoyed learning the program and adjusting the anchor points too. This one took me over two weeks to make it, mostly because I don't have Illustrator on my desktop at home. I only have access to it at school, so that's why it took so long. But I'm proud of it and I hope you like it.

Why did I draw like it?
Because I like drawing cartoon figures dressed up like spies or in combat uniform.

Btw, I'm currently addicted to the manga/anime series FullMetal Alchemist. So you may see Edward Elric in a future blog post. :D

Multimedia Poster

Hello guys!
     Our whole group contribute to making this poster with pictures taken by everyone and some Photoshop skills. The pictures were taken to demonstrate different forms of art like music, art, photography, etc. This event takes place in June 3 from 1-6pm and you can see amazing artwork of different mediums there! I been to Logan  High School (for ACT testing) and there are amazing murals everywhere within the halls. Hope you enjoy this poster!
