Elements of art-(Texture)

Hello guys!

Today in Digital Photography class, I went with my group to take pictures and  .... to the American Red Cross to donate my blood. So I didn't take pictures of texture with them since my wonderful L2 friend said I need to go to the A-wing cafeteria. So after I donated my blood, I took a few pictures of texture and these pictures are not edited on Camera Raw. I would say that I'm proud to donate my blood (the withdrawal of my blood took about 10 minutes but signing in and preparing for it took over an hour). Also I went to the MSJ garden to prune the daisies and take pictures of them too.

Elements of Art- (Color) :D

Hello people!
So far, my class has now moved to color, which is an element you have all seen in my pictures. From the twister board, the color we have to emphasize is green. A color that everyone wanted to take since our job is take pictures of the plants. So today you see pictures of green and more.

Also for the "Blue Flower" and "Magenta Flower", I used Samuel's iPhone and I'm learning how they work in terms of focusing.  So that explains the difference from the other pictures I took.

Elements of Art-(Space) Plantas con la luz

¡Hola! Me llamo Deborah Chen y le mulestra mis fotas de las plantas y otras cosas a ustedes. Una material imporatante en fotografúa es la luz porque el efecto de la luz cambia nuestro punto de vista del mundo.

What? Why is there Spanish here?
Well, it's because I have an urge to type in Spanish and I have a Spanish test today. Hehehe.
But today we are moving from form to space. Space gets more complex, since there's a term called negative space: the space around the object. In other words space is how the surroundings interact with the object. This deals with a lot of depth and creates a sense of emptiness or fulfillment. For example, how many lines are there?
________
________

Most would say two lines but there are three including the empty line in the middle.

Now please enjoy the pictures!

At this point, all of the pictures from here were adjusted on Camera Raw.

Elements of Art-(Form) Flora

Hello guys!
We are now on our third day of studying the elements of art, and now we are on form. Now, forms is about showing depth with 3-D shapes like the famous fruit bowl example. Today we went to the MSJ Garden near our school, and it was interesting to visit the garden in the morning, since the light makes the place seem different from the afternoon light I'm accustomed to. (Oh, I should mention that I regularly attend the garden meetings on Saturdays with my friends, so that would explain why I'm writing like I have been there).

Anyway, I also included some pictures I had taken on the last day of February after the rain had stopped. That would explain why everything is wet yet sunny. I hope you enjoy and more pictures will be coming soon.
